Bible Series On Trials And Tests Rescue All From Persecutions

The Bible says that when we decide to live a righteous life, when we decide to live for CHRIST, we will face persecution. In the book of Mark chapter 10 verses 29 and 30, Scriptures says “Truly I tell you,” JESUS replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for Me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields, along with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life.”
The LORD JESUS said we will receive a hundred times as much in this present age, homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields, but then He said along with persecutions. And then He continued, in the age to come, we will receive eternal life. He was aware of the dangers and hardships we would face following HIM. He wanted you and me to know what we were getting ourselves into. He wanted you and me to know of the blessings and riches that would become ours in the Kingdom of GOD, but also He wanted you and me to know the obstacles we would face on our way. But then He said on the book of Matthew 10 verse 16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” Another Bible translations says "Behold, I am sending you out like sheep in the midst of wolves; be wary (and) wise as serpents, and be innocent (harmless, guileless, and without falsity) as doves."
He used two metaphors to explain on how to behave. He said we are going to be persecuted, but we need to be wise as serpents but yet harmless as doves. He wants you and me to be wise as a way of dealing with situations and people, but in positive, honesty, and harmless ways. We need to be wise by perceiving and avoiding danger and escaping from it. We need to be harmless and innocent in effect or intention so we won’t injure or inflicting physical or mental damage to those people we are sent to, surrounded with, and GOD has placed in our lives. We should not have self serving agenda.
