GOD spoke HIS Word and brought everything into existence. And HE is The GOD Who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did. Therefore even you and me, when we speak the WORD Of GOD, things begin to move in motion, and the WORD Of GOD we speak over our situations will go to work into our lives.
We learn that The WORD Of GOD is the sword used by The HOLY SPIRIT Of GOD to save our souls. HE uses the WORD Of GOD to fight evil and corrupt systems of this world. The more we know and understand the WORD Of GOD which is The Will Of GOD, the more we are able to stand against the devil schemes, against the powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
In spiritual battles we need to take the Sword of the SPIRIT and put on the Helmet of Salvation, which is the WORD Of GOD. How do we take and put it on? We speak and declare Scriptures that speak truth concerning our situations. We also read and meditate on the Promises of GOD.
