The Bible says in the book of 1 Peter chapter 2 Verses 1 to 3 that as new babies desire milk, we should desire for the pure milk of the WORD of GOD, and the more we keep desiring it, the more we are nurtured and grow in respect to Salvation. “So put aside every trace of malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander and hateful speech; like newborn babies [you should] long for the pure milk of the Word, so that by it you may be nurtured and grow in respect to Salvation [its ultimate fulfillment], if in fact you have [already] tasted the goodness and gracious kindness of the LORD.”
Also in the book of Hebrews chapter 5 Verses 11 to 14, it says that “Concerning this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull and sluggish in [your spiritual] hearing and disinclined to listen. For though by this time you ought to be teachers [because of the time you have had to learn these truths], you actually need someone to teach you again the elementary principles of The WORD of GOD [from the beginning], and you have come to be continually in need of milk, not solid food. For everyone who lives on milk is [doctrinally inexperienced and] unskilled in the Word of Righteousness, since he is a spiritual infant. But solid food is for the [spiritually] mature, whose senses are trained by practice to distinguish between what is morally good and what is evil.”
It will reach a time we must grow and mature in the things of GOD for HE wants you and me to grow from being spiritual infants to spiritual mature. GOD wants you and me to get deeper with HIM. Therefore we have to make time to spend quality time with GOD in HIS WORD, and when we do that, each time we grow, and eventually move from being infants to mature Christians. May The HOLY SPIRIT Of GOD guide our lives and move you and me from level to level of spiritual growth and maturity.
We just finished discussing about the importance of wisdom. We have started a new topic, the importance of Love. We are going to look at GOD Unfailing Love for HIS People, and the importance of you and me to love GOD and love one another.
