One thing we need to realize is that The WORD Of GOD is very powerful, and through the WORD Of GOD we are cleansed. The LORD JESUS CHRIST said in John chapter 15 verse 3 that “You are already clean because of the WORD I have spoken to you.”
But also Apostle Paul said in the book of Ephesians chapter 5 verses 24 to 30 says “As the Church submits to CHRIST, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything. For husbands, this means love your wives, just as CHRIST loved the Church. HE gave up HIS life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of The WORD of GOD. HE did this to present her to HIMSELF as a glorious Church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault. In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as CHRIST cares for the Church. And we are members of HIS Body.”
We see here Apostle Paul mentioning that we can be cleansed through the Study of Scripture, the WORD Of GOD, the Wisdom Of GOD. He told husbands and wives, to use their Biblical understanding of the gift of Salvation and its process, and on CHRIST LOVE for the Church, and apply what they have learned in their marriages. Apostle Paul also showed how vital it is to grow in Holy living as part of our spiritual and personal growth.
We have to understand that the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the only way of escape from the corruption of the world, from being corrupted by all wicked systems, and for our souls being corrupted by deception and wickedness. HE said is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can go to the FATHER GOD except through HIM (John 14:6).
So far we know that we can ask GOD for wisdom in every area of our lives. We can ask HIM for wisdom and solutions to problems, and how to overcome challenges. We can pray to GOD to give you and me wisdom to make right and godly decisions each time. We can ask GOD for wisdom to do well in our academics. We can ask HIM for wisdom concerning our health issues, concerning our finances, how to handle our finances, and be financial savvy. We can ask GOD for wisdom concerning our marital issues and destinies. And on top of that we have the Bible, we can look and search for Scriptures concerning different areas of our lives that we need help with.
For instance the books of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes have so many wise sayings to teach concerning life. You can read on your own timing, and you will be amazed of the things you will learn and find out, like in the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 9 verses 9 to 11 which say “Live happily with the woman you love through all the meaningless days of life that GOD has given you under the sun. The wife GOD gives you is your reward for all your earthly toil. Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom. I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.”
