July 2019 Bible Series On Trials And Tests We Need To Cling To The LORD

If you are looking to fulfil your sinful desires and whatever your body and hormones tell you, for instance, then Christianity may not be for you. Matthew chapter 16 verse 24 says “Then JESUS said to His disciples, "Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me.” Only by walking in love and in the Spirit, by being guided by the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD you can truly deny yourself and take up your cross on daily basis. 

Romans chapter 8 verse 14 says “For those who are led by the SPIRIT of GOD are the children of GOD.” So we are supposed to be led by the SPIRIT of GOD as the children of GOD. You can’t be the child of GOD and leave the HOLY SPIRIT out of the equation. We can’t do everything especially those require the specialty of GOD, relying on our own strengths and efforts. We need the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD to empower our lives and strengthen you and me. 

Scripture says in Philippians 4 verse 13 that, we can do anything through CHRIST Who strengthen our lives, or Who gives you and me strengths. We can ask the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD to help you and me live Matthew 16 verse 24 daily, and pick our lives up each time we fail to meet HIS godly standards of living. 

Now let’s continue with our series. But before that let’s rebuke some of the things from our lives. 

Dear HEAVENLY FATHER, by the Power of YOUR GLORY and MAJESTY, I apply the Blood of JESUS on me, on you my audiences, on our families, on all our loved ones and everyone concerning our lives. In the Authority of The LORD JESUS CHRIST, I decree and declare we shall escape any forms of unnecessary imprisonments in our lives whether it be spiritually, physically, mentally, financially, career and health wise, in the MIGHTY NAME of the LORD JESUS CHRIST I pray. HOLY FATHER, in the Authority of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, we shall escape all evil and wrong accusations against our lives. LORD please fight for our lives. No jail experiences and sentencing. No plots against our lives will ever prosper. No free masonry, no 666, no devil, no black mamba, no witchcraft, no demonic societies and sororities and occults in our lives, in our family members lives and all our loved ones and everyone concerning our lives in the MIGHTY NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST I pray. LORD save me, my family, my audience, and all our loved ones from evil foundations that are holding our lives hostages. HEAVENLY FATHER, rescue our lives and souls, just incase unknowingly we have sold our souls to the devil, in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST I pray. 

We have discussed six points why GOD allows trials, storms, tests, persecutions, temptations, tribulations, and so forth in our lives. One of the reasons for instance is as part of spiritual fitness and exercise. 1 Timothy chapter 4 verse 8 says that “For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” Another translation says “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” 

GOD can allow you and me to go through things and circumstances so that we can spiritual grow to maturity until we become men and women of mature godly characters. HE uses trials, tests, and all other sorts of things to develop you and me into spiritual maturity. 

I heard this man of GOD saying that there are three signs of spiritual maturity. One, hearing from GOD. If you are able to hear from GOD, then mostly likely you are on this journey of spiritual maturity. Two, you are trusting GOD in everything. If you are that person who trust GOD in everything wholeheartedly without questioning HIM, then you are spiritual mature. And the third is you are obeying GOD. And you can’t obey GOD if you don’t trust HIM. 

Many times it is through our hardships we are able to see GOD and HIS Faithfulness. We get to really know GOD through trials, tests, and persecutions.
