So they say, the greater the pain the greater the purpose. At some point in our lives, we are going to face storms of life. Many times storms are sent to distract, discourage, and stop our lives when GOD is about to elevate you and me more, or we are about to get breakthroughs when GOD is about to answer our prayers or when we are near to fulfil part of our GOD assignments or take territory and dominion of something or region for HIS Glory and for the better good of humanity.
We have went through a few examples to understand the reasons behind the storms of our lives. You know I looked at the definition of a storm online, one definition said to attack with violent force. A storm does not have to be a natural disaster. It can also be an adversity, distress, calamity, affliction, and et cetera. So when you go through a storm of life depending on your other side you are crossing over, you are not the target really when the storm comes. It’s what you are going to accomplish is what is the target. I feel like the devil is so dumb, because GOD can send another messenger to do the task if HE really wants to accomplish it.
When we face a storm, the best thing to look is what is behind that storm. What does this storm came to stop or distract you and me from. Hang on to the promise; don’t allow anybody to take it from you. We are supposed to be the Joshua generation, the ones who make to their promises lands in our marital destinies, career destinies, community destinies, and so forth each step of the way because sometimes it can be more than one destination promise land. But our ultimate destination, the final one, is to make Heaven, to finally be with the LORD, we shouldn’t forget that as we pursue earthly promise lands.
