June 2023 We Overcome From The Point Of Victory

Where we are going, our destination for instance (which as for me and my Family I pray will be Heaven when GOD Throne is established) and what we may be going through or the challenges we have to go through in our life journeys to get there, may be orchestrated by GOD. The challenges represented in our lives may not be our choice, but the outcome is.

I will give you an example using Scripture promise from the book of Matthew Chapter 5 verse 6. It says that “Happy are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness: because they shall be filled.” Another Bible translation says “Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what GOD requires; GOD will satisfy them fully.”

We see three things.

The first thing, we need to do what GOD requires.

The second thing, when we do what GOD requires we experience happiness because happiness is a byproduct that we get when we are after GOD’S Righteousness. Happiness is the byproduct of those whose greatest desire is to do what GOD requires.

In New Living Bible, in this translation, it says “GOD blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.”

Therefore we can say that GOD’S blessings upon our lives is the byproduct of those who hunger and thirst for justice. As we hunger and thirst for justice, we experience blessings from GOD. Why? Because our greatest desire is to do what GOD requires.

The third thing, we see the end goal results and a reward which is for GOD to satisfy our lives fully because we did what HE required. The end goal results and a reward is to be supplied and filled with GOD’S Righteousness that we thirst and hunger for. The end goal results and a reward is to see GOD’S Blessing manifesting in our lives.

Therefore we can also say that what we are going through today, whether it’s a good or bad situation, is not our destination. It’s the thing we have to go through for a season, to get to our destination. We are required to learn from the lessons of what we go through to reach to our destination where GOD has destined you and me to reach, our higher calling in CHRIST JESUS in our lives.

The journey is as important just as the destination. There are great lessons the journey can teach you and me. At some point or situations if we miss on the journey, we miss the destination. We may be required to go through similar life experiences (of the wilderness experiences) all over again until we pass the tests.

Think about those people who could be waiting for you on the other side. Think about those opportunities that you have been expecting waiting for you on the other side if you could just manage to get there. When we really want to get there, GOD will make a way for you and me to get there.

What we may be going through should not determine our overall outcome in life. The challenges or the battle may not be our choice, but the outcome is. We have to choose to face those challenges and overcoming them.

As born again Christians, we have an advantage, because we fight our battles and overcome our challenges, from a place of victory, and not for victory, because JESUS has already won and overcome all the things that we also may have to overcome.

In the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 57, it says “But thanks be to GOD. HE gives you and me the victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST.”

The Bible also says in the book of 1 John chapter 5 verse 4, “For everyone born of GOD overcomes the World. This is the victory that has overcome the World, even our Faith.”

Not only that, in the book of John chapter 16 verse 33, The LORD JESUS said “I have told you these things, so that in ME you may have Peace. In this World you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the World.”

In the book of Romans chapter 8 verse 37, it says as born again Christians “In all these things we are triumphantly victorious due to the ONE (CHRIST) WHO loved you and me.”

If we think for you and me to finish well and strong in life is very important as it is important when we think we must get home, or get to work when there are some interferences on the road, that’s when what we are going through will not withstand you and me. We should have the same mindset that what we are going through, no matter how challenging, will not withstand you and me.

In the book of Philippians Chapter 4 verse 3, it says “We can do everything through CHRIST, WHO gives you and me strength.”

One day one of my sisters and I went to visit a friend, and on the way we got a flat tire. Neither of us knew how to replace a new tire. Good thing is that we were not that far from a friend’s house that we were going to visit. So we called her to let her know what happened and that we are going to get there late because of the flat tire incident. That day her husband was at home, so she asked him to come to help us fix the flat tire. If her husband was not at home, maybe he travelled out of the Country, another alternative we could have just found another person to fix the flat tire. We couldn’t just be stuck there.

The Bible says in the book of Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10 that “GOD has made you and me what we are. HE has created you and me in CHRIST JESUS to live lives filled with good works that HE has prepared for you and me to do.”

We all have godly assignments that GOD has predestined for you and me to do and accomplish in advanced. We all have our own paths we have to take that GOD has prepared for you and me in advance in order to live lives filled with good works. Therefore, we shouldn’t give up, quit, or throw in the towel. We should keep on pursuing and persisting in the things of GOD and what HE has assigned for you and me to do, because consistency is the key to our breakthrough.

In the book of Galatians chapter 6 verse 9, it says that “Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.”

And in the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 58, it says “So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the LORD, for you know that nothing you do for the LORD is ever useless.”

When we don’t know what to do we should trust GOD to give you and me wisdom to know what to do. In the book of James chapter 1 verse 5, it says that “If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] GOD, WHO gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.”

When we don’t know what direction to take, we should trust GOD to give you and me direction. The Bible records in the book of Psalm chapter 32 verse 8 that “The LORD said, “HE will guide our lives along the best pathway for our lives. HE will advise our lives and watch over our lives.” HIS HOLY SPIRIT that lives within you and me will guide our lives.

We should always trust GOD wholeheartedly, because HE knows what’s best for our lives. As it says in the book of Proverbs chapter 3 verses 5 and 6, “We should trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all our hearts. We should do not rely on our own insight or understanding. In all our ways know and acknowledge and recognize HIM. And HE will make our paths straight and smooth, removing obstacles that block our way.”
