The Bible tells you and me that in the Kingdom of GOD, or Kingdom of Heaven, people are prepared for their godly destinies and assignments. The LORD JESUS said in the book of Mark Chapter 10 verse 40 that “But I do not have the right to choose who will sit at My right and My left. It is GOD WHO will give these places to those for whom HE has prepared them.”
GOD prepares HIS People for their godly assignments. HE has to prepare you and me so that we may fulfil our godly destinies. For each assignment usually there are challenges we have to overcome. And that’s why we need to be equipped and be prepared for them. GOD doesn’t only care about our marital destinies, and the people whom we choose to marry for instance, but HE also cares about other areas of our lives.
In the book of Psalm Chapter 37 verses 23 and 24, it says “The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand.”
The Bible says that GOD has recorded our lives in HIS Books before we were born. In the book of Psalm Chapter 139 verse 16, it records that “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in Your Book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”
GOD has already predestined and arranged for you and me, what we are going to do in this life. In the book of Ephesians Chapter 2 verse 10, it says “For we are HIS workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS for good works, which GOD prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” You and me have assignments to fulfill in this life. And when we know those assignments we will be able to avoid misunderstandings and confusions, even when we face oppositions.
The LORD JESUS mentioned the right order in obtaining things in GOD’s Kingdom in Matthew Chapter 6 verse 33. “But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) HIS Kingdom and HIS righteousness [HIS way of doing and being right, the attitude and character of GOD], and all these things will be given to you also."
In other words seek GOD, HIS Kingdom and Righteousness, and HIS ways of doing things first, basically make HIM first priority in everything and everyone, then HE will add those things to our lives that we look for. Some Bible translations say, then all these things will follow you.
Our motives and focus is to seek GOD, not the things. When we seek HIM, to know HIM, to fellowship with HIM, we don’t need to pursue all the things we need and want, as we seek GOD and HIS Righteousness, eventually those things, and the answers to our prayers, will be given to our lives. GOD will reveal HIS plans HE has for our lives.
There is no need to manipulate things, we just need to pray and cast all our cares to the LORD and make HIM our first priority and get our hearts centered on HIM. In the Book of Romans chapter 8 verse 28, it says “And we know [with great confidence] that GOD [WHO is deeply concerned about our lives] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love GOD, to those who are called according to HIS plan and purpose.”
We can also pray and ask GOD to reveal our godly assignments and HIS plans for our lives, and keep on revealing them in each level of our lives, so that we can live and fulfil them. We need to know what GOD has instore for our lives. We need to know what on Earth are we here for, and what are our callings and gifting.
A few years ago I saw this book on Amazon on the subject of water down Gospel. And I wanted to know why they call it water down Gospel, because the last time I checked, there is one Gospel, the Good News of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. In fact in the book of Galatians Chapter 1 verse 8, Apostle Paul said that “But even if we or an angel from Heaven should preach to you a Gospel contrary to and different from that which we preached to you, let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment).”
As you can see why I needed to know and find out. So I did get some information online just to get an understanding of this water down Gospel. Basically when people want blessings without obedience, when they want comfort without sacrifice, or want happiness, but without repentance, they water down, decaffeinate, and dilute the message of the Gospel, and cause it to have no effect on their lives or the lives of others. The LORD JESUS didn’t come to make our normal, selfish, sinful lives a little better. HE came to radically transform our lives. The way of Grace inspired obedience, the narrow way is the only way to find the real JESUS, real meaning, real hope, and real godly life.
Because water down Gospel living can lead you and me to be unfruitful and ineffective in our Christian walk and journey, may GOD help you and me, our loved ones to really live the real Gospel of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. We shall be fruitful Christians. No water down Gospel for you and me, and our loved ones by GOD’S help. May GOD prepare you, me, and our loved ones for our godly destinies, I pray in THE MIGHTY NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
