December 2020 Prayers And Bible Series On Words We May Have What We Say

We are continuing with our topic on the importance of our words.

The Bible says in the Book of Job chapter 22 verse 28 that “You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established to you. Light shall shine on your ways.”

And in the Book of Psalm chapter 33 verse 9, the Bible says “GOD spoke and it came to be. HE commanded and it stood firm.”

So far we have learned that GOD is looking for those who will worship HIM regardless what they are facing and what circumstances they have been put in. And in everything in all seasons of life, as Born Again Christians we need to give thanks to GOD.

In the Book of 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 18, Apostle Paul said, “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the WILL OF GOD in CHRIST JESUS for you."

In the Book of Ephesians chapter 5 verses 18 to 20, Apostle Paul also said, “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the LORD, giving thanks always for all things to GOD THE FATHER in the Name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.”

We need to be filled with HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, and speak to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs and make melody in our hearts to the LORD.

And we are supposed to give thanks always for all things to GOD THE FATHER, in the Name Of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Another thing we have also learned is that it’s important that we confess our sins to GOD. You can read the Book of Daniel chapter 9, it has a good example of how to confess our sins in prayer to GOD, to ask to be forgiven.

There are benefits when we confess our sins. It helps you and me to acknowledge that we have done wrong so we can be forgiven, cast our care to GOD, get healed, get delivered, be set free, be able to change and repent.

In Proverbs 28:13, it says “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”

But also in Psalm 32, verses 1 to 6, it says;
Blessed is the one
  whose transgressions are forgiven,
  whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the one
  whose sin the LORD does not count against them
  and in whose spirit is no deceit.
When I kept silent,
  my bones wasted away
  through my groaning all day long.
For day and night
  Your Hand was heavy on me;
my strength was sapped
  as in the heat of summer.
Then I acknowledged my sin to You
  and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess
  my transgressions to the LORD.”
And You forgave
  the guilt of my sin.
Therefore let all the faithful pray to You
  while You may be found;
surely the rising of the mighty waters
  will not reach them.

So as you can see it’s very important to confess our sins to GOD. It’s for our own good.

Our prayer points.

For GOD to give you and me, the spirit of wisdom, revelation, discernment, and understanding, and to reveal mysteries concerning HIM and our lives.

To ask GOD to remove every spiritual blindness and spiritual deafness in our lives so that we can see and perceive, and hear to understand concerning HIM, and HIS Will for our lives and loved ones.

To ask GOD to give you and me the grace to become wise builders and be doers of The WORD Of GOD, to practicing and implementing HIS Instructions in our lives. To pray for The Church and all Believers, our Family Members and all our Loved Ones, our Streets, Cities, Countries, and our Leaders.

To ask GOD to empower you and me to take every thought captive to obey CHRIST and cast down every evil imagination and everything that exalt itself against the knowledge Of GOD.
