Even when it comes to what we should be doing, or who we should marry, sometimes we may want things on our own way, but it may not be GOD’s Will and what HE has in mind. When we are not sure on which direction to go, it’s good if we ask HIM for clarity, and wait for HIS confirmation.
It's a process, and there are lessons to learn each step along the way such as to be obedient, to have patience and be willing to persevere. You need to keep trusting GOD and continue to do what HE has instructed you.
The LORD JESUS CHRIST said in John 13 verses 34 and 35, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” As members of the Body of CHRIST, we are called to love one another.
If you read the sheep and goats Bible passage in Matthew chapter 25, you will see that the thermometer that The LORD JESUS used to separate the sheep and goats and measure the things concerning GOD, it’s the thermometer of Love, our Love for GOD and one another. The LORD JESUS said "If we love HIM, we will obey HIM."
In Matthew 28 verses 19 and 20, it says that “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the NAME OF THE FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT, and teaching them to obey everything the LORD JESUS has commanded us. And surely HE is with everyone always, to the very end of the age.” The LORD JESUS said and teaching them to obey. It’s not enough to teaching them everything HE has commanded, but teach them to also obey everything. We have to obey by implementing in our lives what we know and have been taught.
We have discussed about the parable of the ten virgins, and learned that one of the problems the foolish ones they had was that they didn’t want to know GOD for themselves by spending quality with HIM on their own, they relied on others on what they know about GOD to tell them. This is the time to spend quality time with the LORD to know HIM on your own. This is the great time to invest into knowing GOD.
We have also looked on the importance of setting our priorities right. The LORD JESUS visited two sisters one time, and the Bible says one put the LORD first priority. GOD was her first priority above all else. And when it was time to spend time with HIM, she didn’t allow any distractions. On the other hand, the other sister had issues of prioritizing her life endeavors. For instance; she could have prepared ahead of time so that when the LORD came to visit them, she could spend time quality with HIM without any distractions. The LORD JESUS said that Mary chose the right thing and it will not be taken away from her. She chose to bond and spend quality time with GOD and investing in her spiritual inner man which is eternal. She chose to trust GOD instead of worrying. She chose to put GOD first priority above all else, and practice The WORD of GOD. She chose to know and find out the truth about what GOD says about her. In John 17 verse 3, it says that “Now this is eternal life: that they know YOU, the only true GOD, and JESUS CHRIST, whom YOU have sent.”
Our prayer points.
For GOD to baptize me and you with HIS HOLY SPIRIT. May GOD fill you and me with more of HIS HOLY SPIRIT Of Truth.
For GOD to bring HIS Light to our lives and our situations, to bring godly solutions and give revelations concerning our lives and loved ones lives.
