The Bible says in the book of Proverbs chapter 23 verse 18 “For there is surely a future life, and what you hope for will not be cut off.” Another translation says “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.”
In the book of Ephesians chapter 6 verse 16, it says that "In addition to having clothed yourselves with these things, having taken up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to put out all the flaming arrows of the evil one."
The Bible records that one of the weapons as part of the Full Armor Of GOD we need to use to fight difficult problems and situations we face in our lives, is we need to release our faith and speak against those difficult mountains we are facing and commanding them to move and resolved.
There is this story in the Bible of how the LORD JESUS spoke to the wind and waves, and it obeyed HIM. In the book of Matthew chapter 8 verse 23 to 27, it says that “JESUS got into a boat. HIS followers followed HIM. At once a bad storm came over the lake. The waves were covering the boat. JESUS was sleeping. HIS followers went to HIM and called, “Help us, LORD, or we will die.” HE said to them, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith.” Then HE stood up. HE spoke sharp words to the wind and the waves. Then the wind stopped blowing. Then men were surprised and wondered about it. They said, “What kind of a man is HE? Even the winds and the waves obey HIM.” Another Bible translation says “Now when HE got into a boat, HIS disciples followed HIM. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But HE was asleep. Then HIS disciples came to HIM and awoke HIM, saying, “LORD, save us. We are perishing.” But HE said to them, “Why are you fearful, you of little faith?” Then HE arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey HIM?”
We tend to talk a lot about what we dislike, we don’t want, and we can’t change. But if we don’t like to experiencing the things we are speaking, then its better if we don’t talk about those things. Instead, we need to speak what we expect to receive and experience in our lives because we might get what we expect.
In the book of Proverbs chapter 18 verse 21, Scripture says "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words."
When we are facing mountains of all kinds, the first thing we need to do is to pray to GOD to reveal what is going on, what is troubling our lives. But also we need to speak and declare the Word of GOD all the time on what it promises concerning those mountains we want to be removed, and then release our faith by claiming the truth of the Word of GOD that is our truth. That’s why we need to study the scriptures to know what GOD says in HIS Word concerning our circumstances.

We need to do like the LORD JESUS did, take authority over our circumstances. We need to find the scriptures that speak the solution concerning those circumstances, meditate on those scriptures until the truth and revelations from what GOD reveals penetrate our minds and hearts, so that we can speak and declare for our lives that truth each time we need too, each time when those situations arise again.
The Word of GOD has final authority; it can override any of the negative thoughts we have thought and negative words we have said and believe, and also the situations and circumstances we face that we want them to change. It can uproot the wrong thinking and thoughts that we have deposited in our mindsets as strongholds because of wrong beliefs and the lies that are contrary to the Word of GOD we have believed for years.
We need to renew our minds and transform our thinking so that the words we speak to ourselves and others align to the Will of GOD for our lives and their lives. Right thinking and believing is right living. Wrong thinking and believing is wrong living.
In the book of Romans chapter 12 verse 2, its says "And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of GOD is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in HIS plan and purpose for you]."
There is also another story where it records that the LORD JESUS spoke to the fig tree and it dried up. It is recorded in the book of Matthew chapter 21 verses 18 to 22 that “In the morning as HE was coming back to the city, HE was hungry. HE saw a fig tree by the side of the road and went to it. There was nothing on it but leaves. HE said to the tree, “No fruit will ever grow on you again.” At once the fig tree dried up. The followers saw it and were surprised and wondered. They said, “How did the fig tree dry up so fast?” JESUS said to them, “For sure, I tell you this: If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only be able to do what was done to the fig tree. You will also be able to say to this mountain, ‘Move from here and be thrown into the sea,’ and it will be done. All things you ask for in prayer, you will receive if you have faith.”
There was this time I asked myself, why did the LORD JESUS would want to do that to a fig tree? Was the fig tree a mountain? And then I heard from this Pastor’s sermon a while ago that the LORD JESUS spoke to the fig tree because it was not producing fruits like it was supposed to. From a far it looked good like it had fruits on it, but when HE went to the tree to eat its fruits, the tree had only leaves but no fruits. So what does it mean for you and me as Born Again Christians? Pretty much GOD expects you and me to bear fruits, much fruits actually.
As Born Again Christians, our CHRIST like characters and qualities are what will prove that we are Christians. Since the LORD JESUS is the Vine, and we are HIS branches, HE is expecting you and me to bear fruits.
I guess HE didn’t want to be like that fig tree, that’s why HE rebuked it and commanded it to wither.
So how will people know that we are branches that bear fruits; it’s through our actions and the way we live our lives. How will you know that I walk in love? Of course, it will by my actions toward you or others, right? The same way, people will know we are Born Again Christians and followers of JESUS CHRIST, not only about what we say who we are, but by our CHRIST like characters and actions, and the way we live our lives.
Another story is in the book of Matthew chapter 17 verses 14 to 21. It says, “When they came to many people, a man came up to JESUS and got on his knees. He said, “LORD, have pity on my son. He is very sick and at times loses the use of his mind. Many times he falls into the fire or into the water. I took him to YOUR followers but they were not able to heal him.” Then JESUS said, “You people of this day have no faith and you are going the wrong way. How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring him here to ME.” JESUS spoke sharp words to the demon and the demon came out of him. At once the boy was healed. The followers came to JESUS when HE was alone. They said, “Why were we not able to put the demon out?” JESUS said to them, “Because you have so little faith. For sure, I tell you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to over there,’ and it would move over. You will be able to do anything. But this kind of demon does not go out but by prayer and by going without food so you can pray better.”
The LORD JESUS said even the minimum requirement of faith as little as mustard seed can be used to speak to our mountains and get you and me the results we expect and want. If we have faith and do not doubt, we can say to our mountains ‘Move from here and be thrown into the sea,’ and it will be done because all things we ask for in prayer, we will receive if we have faith. According to our faith it will be done. If we have great faith like the LORD JESUS, it should be instantaneously manifestation and breakthrough. But HE also said, there are some mountains that will only go out after we engage both prayer and fasting.
Our GOD is able. With man some situations may be impossible, but with GOD all things are possible when we believe. We need to speak to those mountains that have placed themselves in our lives, and declare favor over our lives and our situations. It’s not our job to know how GOD is going to bring our answers; our job is to have faith in GOD. HE is The GOD of natural and supernatural victories. Instead of talking to ourselves and others about how big our problems are, we need to start talking to our problems about how big our GOD is and speak what we should speak; peace, healing, deliverance, protection, prosperity, abundance, grace, favor, and start prophesying good things in our present and for our future.
In the book of Psalm chapter 107 verse 2, it says “Let the people who have been saved say so. HE has bought them and set them free from the hand of those who hated them.” If you have noticed, the Scripture doesn’t say, “Let them think so.” We have got to speak it. We have got to declare and say it. As we have seen on these Scriptures I have shared, the LORD JESUS spoke to those circumstances. HE didn’t think about them, and kept quiet.
In the book 2 Corinthians chapter 10 verses 3 to 5, it says that "It is true that we live in the World, but we do not fight from worldly motives. The weapons we use in our fight are not the World's weapons but GOD'S powerful weapons, which we use to destroy strongholds. We destroy false arguments; we pull down every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of GOD; we take every thought captive and make it obey CHRIST."
So how will people know that we are branches that bear fruits; it’s through our actions and the way we live our lives. How will you know that I walk in love? When we speak to the mountains that have placed themselves in our lives, we destroy those mountains and override them with the truth of the Word Of GOD. When we speak to the situations that we want to change in our lives, we pull down obstacles of those situations that have raised themselves against the knowledge of GOD concerning our lives.
Another GOD'S promise is in the book of Isaiah chapter 54 verse 17, and it says, “No weapon that is formed against you and me will succeed; and every tongue that rises against you and me in judgment we will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from ME,” says the LORD.”
In order for you and me to start seeing the manifestation of the Word Of GOD in our lives, we have to speak what we believe. What makes it work is our faith that we have released, and the Word of GOD or the promise of GOD we have been speaking and standing on. Eventually what we have been believing and speaking will begin to manifest in our lives.
